Catch of the Week, Faith and Christianity

Wolves

In my last reblog we looked at Fiery Darts.

This post highlights another danger lurking in our Christian Walk.

The blog below is for women, but men have just as big an issue as women in the church today, understanding False Teachers, here characterized as Wolves. When I first read her Introduction my immediate thought was just how accurate the term Wolves 🐺 was.

You’ve heard “birds of a feather flock together”? Remember, wolves move in packs. They identify each other, communicate with each other, and they congregate as a ‘family’.

It’s so obvious that in the church visible, wolves are seen doing just that. They are invited to and speak at each other’s conferences, they sing each other’s Worhip Music, appear on each other’s Television shows, are quoted in or write recommendations for each other’ books. I can’t count the number of times I’ve seen pictures or promotions of false teachers gathered together in singular unit for some event.

Anyway this is the third in a series of five posts by Elizabeth Prata if you open it you will find links to the two earlier posts. I post it specifically for the women who read my blog who might otherwise overlook this area of concern. Pay attention to the scriptures posted, there were plenty of false prophets in the OT and well as NT times, so from that perspective there is nothing new here, but perhaps we don’t so easily see it.
