I posted yesterday on Revelation about the Holy Spirit being mention in Chapter 1.
Revelation 1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
But as Mike points out the Holy Spirit isn’t just at his place as God at the throne, but actively works in our lives.
All this has a purpose as the Westminster Larger Catechism says:
Q. 1. What is the chief and highest end of man?
A. Man’s chief and highest end is to glorify God, and fully to enjoy him forever.
