This is a more personal note.
Pastor Ganger at the little Reformed Church near by, actually about 35 minutes away, said some things in his Sunday Morning sermon I believe mentioned similar things about personalities in leadership of the Visible Church. I need to listen again to be clear on that.
Having been in the Evangelical Church world for years this short Podcast did point out one significant difference….and surprisingly it’s not about doctrine per say.
Another aspect they don’t discuss, is my own observation that so many Pastor’s today, feel called to season there Sermons with some quote from one of the big name Evangelicals….I guess it’s ok that a bit of wisdom is gleemed from MegaPastor Stars…like Keller, and
Warren, etc…. But it’s almost that they think 🤔 they can only be effective with their own message if they leverage it off of the teachings or says of these most “successful” Pastors.
