Love and Accept Like Jesus?

I have not quoted Greg in awhile..But this one is worth reading….understanding this common challenge and having a Biblical understanding deep enough to be able to have a dialogue in these situations is useful.

It would be interesting to see aspects phrased as questions back when challenged. Greg usually asks good questions:

Such as: What did Jesus first say about who to love? What does that mean? Do you do that? What are the Commandments? What does all mean? Etc..

I love the point about being a Narcissist. And the ending line…

1 John 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

That goes well with Jesus Great Commission statement, especially as translated in the KJV…

Mat 28:18  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Mat 28:19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Mat 28:20  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, evenunto the end of the world. Amen.

But don’t expect all to accept and embrace the Bible’s and Jesus’ teachings..

Jhn 6:65  And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. (Repeated from v44)

Jhn 6:66  From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

Jhn 6:67  Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
