I’m one who thinks that Paul is the author of Hebrews…I’ve read some good discussion of this both ways. I do like to imaging that Paul who was a Jewish scholar and had the training and understanding to write to the Jews. Although known in other settings as the Apostle to the Gentiles might have written directly to the Jews also, perhaps this letter was him poring his heart out to his people.

I like the phrase: Holy, Righteous, and Just
It goes well with a phrase I’ve heard lately that says one of the tasks of us humans is to preserve that which is Good, True and Beautiful.
Certainly the character of God being Holy, Righteous, and Just is one of those ideas to be conserved not destroyed.
