Recently I’ve been seeing a few articles and talks about the side of the visible church that is frequently said to promote the Seven Mountain Mandate. If one is interested in seeing how current contemporary Christian ideas are spun into the political sphere I recommend studying some of these resources.
From my observation, I first encountered these way back in the 70’s in writings of Fuller Professor, C. Peter Wagner, who went on to mentor Rick Warren, I was also familiar with the YWAM and CCC or CRU as it’s known know. (BTW…in those day’s, I actually imagined myself going to seminary and even had received acceptance into the MDiv program at Fuller.)
And of course the Moral Majority. There also evolved through out the late 19th and 20th centuries, the liberal/progressive wing of Christian influence on society, via the Christian Liberalism, the Social Gospel, and later Woke (someone recently defined that as: “which is made up of Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality are focused on the here and now, the temporal”.
Shades of it I encountered in the old “Truth Project” Series, We also observe that the most recent Pope’s often play a prominent role in projecting the Roman Catholic Church into the political sphere…and it’s know that if you examine the leaders in all aspects of our government the Roman Catholic Church followers, or those trained by them do play a disproportionate role. Other more current players include Trump‘s Faith Council, the TPUSA movement, and the more difficult to define Christian Nationalism movement.
I do think it’s useful to understand the underlying players in this area, so understanding the background of the New Apostolic Reformation NAR is useful.
Here are some of the latest links.

That link I think is also in this one….
This 2nd audio is the host Dave Jenkins alone talking. It was done a month later, both are this year.
Martha West also reposted an article from a few years ago I saw about the Bethel Church Redding Apostolic Training Center, if you have spent any time in understanding the NAR, you will recognize that Bethel Church is a major player in the movement right here in California.
BTW over the years Michelle Leslie has gathered a few articles on the NAR if you want to see the connections they have: This is a summary search link on here site.
I’ll let you comment on how all this relates to todays’ political world…or even if it has any relevance.
