I must confess, my reading had slowed, but hopefully I am back on track for a while.
I again relate that these posts are more for my own benefit to capture some of the thoughts I have as I read the Bible. There is much more that could be said, the whole Bible could be quoted or memorized, the great commentaries say things much better than I do, and Max McLean reads it better. I do have a healthy record of highlights and underlines in my KJV now that constantly spur my recollection.
Btw this is just day 748 of my reading under this program curiously two of my Old Testament cycles interconnected today, the 187 Books of Moses cycle and the 249 day Historical book cycle.
Both the ending of the Moses cycle and the beginning of the history cycle are in today’s reading, putting these in direct order.
If you see any spiritual insight in that coincidence let me know.
Else wise I will just relay…
2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Act 17:10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thitherwent into the synagogue of the Jews.
Act 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
Act 17:12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.
