Devotional Readings, Faith and Christianity, John Bunyan

Philippians – Word Search

My wife suggested reading Philippians every week together. She is memorizing as much of it as she can, something beyond me, and noting that Joy is a central theme. I’ve also noticed that the Gospel and/or Preaching it is equally (11 vs.12 verses) presented.

If you read the book you begin to see that it’s the Philippian’s response to the preaching and the gospel that actually gives Paul the joy he expresses.
