This read from Mike Ratliff’s post should probably draw readers to Dr. Martyn-Lloyd Jones sermons on Ephesians 6. I highly recommend the entire series… It may not seem that we are actually in this battle, but until the Lord comes again we are. Not only in the culture but even in the visible church.

It’s interesting Mike mentions: “Syncretism is the new byword of the Emergent Village and the New Evangelism.”
We may not see it that extreme but earlier this year the Barna Survey published.
“Nine out of 10 American adults hold Syncretism (not Biblical Theism) as their dominant worldview.”
Mike wrote: “They are also to be well equipped soldiers in Christ’s army. This means that they must know the truth and how to debate those who hate God’s truth. These debates must never be allowed to devolve into dialogue though. This is when the Christian is willing to allow apostates and heretics to say things unchallenged that are nothing but the product of the doctrines of demons”
