And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son
, in whom I am well pleased.
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son
, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
And Paul’s conversion.
Act 9:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
Act 9:5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
Act 9:6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
But in this chapter we read another sound coming from heaven.

The Westminster Catechism teaches that man’s chief end is to glorify God.
Btw: If Jesus was really just a man all of this text about glorifying him would be truly blasphemy!
Speaking about words, the word glory or a form of it appears:
