2Co 11:1 Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.
2Co 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
2Co 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
Paul also wrote on the inspiration of the Holy Spirit:
The Righteous Shall Live by Faith
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
The past few years, I’ve tried to stay away from controversial topics on the blog, with my focus primarily on the scripture readings of the day.

It is intriguing though today to observe the various spins concerning a number of big Named Christian or Religion alternative.. In my blogger readings, I come across many of these of all of these by far the largest centers around Pope Francis and all the current and historical Roman Catholic controversy, which take many shapes; not far behind or maybe even ahead are the debates over Islam and Eastern Religions; and of course the New Age Thinking, Creation and Evolution. Among the various “Christian” forms one sees: Word of Faith, Prosperity Gospel, New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) as well as the traditional sects and cults (See Walter Martin’s book The Kingdom of the Cults. More recently the so called “Social Gospel” has become quite the focus and it’s own controversy, as well as those who equate following Jesus as following into Marxism and full Liberation Theology.

If you have been reading your Bible, you should have seen that false ways to God and Worship are nothing new. Error in thinking and action goes back to the Garden, spans the whole history of Israel and into the time of Christ and the Apostles. truly nothing new under the Sun.
Ecclesiastes 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
