Probably. Even more so than Mike Ratliff, I qualify as a nobody! I have yet to achieve 10,000 hit’s on my own posts.
I would say that having some Biblical Discernment should be a Spiritual Gift, and likewise Understanding Sound Biblical Doctrines should be desirable Fruit of the Spirit.
As to Unity, I’ve always appreciated the Ephesians 4 passages:
In the world there is too much disunity.
Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
….
Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Eph 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Eph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Eph 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
BTW, I recently heard a good series of talk which I’m providing this quote from….and this still applies today….maybe even more so.
“If you were interested in an ordinary means ministry, distinguishing law and gospel, or preaching the classic Reformed theology by and in practice, conducting an ordinary ministry, preaching the law and the gospel in the morning, baptizing the believers and their children, administering holy communion, exercising church discipline, catechizing children and educating believers, just conducting an ordinary Christian worship service without anything extraordinary, people fainting or whatever, all the different phenomena that were associated with the First Great Awakening.
The people that were trying to do that were regularly, as I say, denounced as unregenerated. So there was a lot of weirdness in the 18th century that we sort of overlook.”

It’s worth a listen to the series.
Here’s Mike’s post which triggered my post.
BTW..Speaking of little, the small Trinity United Reformed Church I’ve been doing my sabbatical at the past 6 months, is part of a denomination the URCNA:
We give thanks to the Lord for His faithfulness to the URCNA as can be seen in the graph below. In the First Edition of the URCNA directory (Feb 1997), there were 44 congregations represented and a total of 9,299 souls. Fast forward to the present and there are 140 churches and 26,034 souls in the United Reformed Churches. Praise the Lord and may He continue to bless us with both spiritual and numerical growth!
That’s less than 0.007% of the US and Canadian population. Tiny! But Trinity is one of those churches that the Heidelcast spoke about.
